SOIL & SOUL

SOIL & SOUL

Place - Japan

As a human being, I cannot ignore the influence of nature over our lives, and that is often evident and reflected in my art form. My works are mostly self-‐motivate by life & nature in various forms. In the present world, Global Warming is a big issue which directly affects Nature. I feel that nature is being destroyed slowly by human beings through its technological advancements and at the same time due to other big issues like war, terrorism and at the same time petrochemical products. In the present situation, Global warming is the cause of the continuously rising average temperature of the earth’s atmosphere and oceans.

Many industrial revolutions increase the CO2 Gasses. In addition, lots of waste materials resulting from various sources, both human & technological, are not properly recycled, thus causing harm to nature. Most petrochemical waste products act against nature. For Human societies, the meaning of climate change mainly lies in the effects of extreme weather events rather than gradual climate changes. At this time, my research is to save nature. This Land art residency is a great Initiative to explore the awareness about Nature, Land, and Social Structure. I like to work with informative ‘ TEXT-based work on Land and surrounding of the soil.
